When viewing an e-book on a computer monitor instead of the reader device, the viewer has great flexibility in how the book appears.
How an e book looks on a vendor’s computer app can change substantially by adjusting the settings.
For one large e-vendor, you can adjust the settings to
- More words per line.
- Font size in middle, adjust to taste
- Turn off single column.
- For the cloud reader, have a small margin on the two sides.
Even without a physical device for reading, you can download the computer viewing app. You can download a free preview of the first part of one of my books here.
You can compare this experience to the Calculus CK-12 text on the same computer app here.
Please indicate your experience here. The Ck-12 book still has some problems in viewing in places such as small equation sizes in some spots.
