Does the math ed establishment spew out lies that make it feel good and let it avoid responsibility for outcomes? Or let it avoid conflict with a dysfunctional immigration system that makes it harder for White students to have 1950s schools and harder for Diversity students to have stability to stop going down?
High stakes testing is where the conflict avoidance of the math ed establishment with the immigration establishment taps out as a strategy. The lie that 3rd world immigration is good hits the high stakes testing results that fire teachers because this immigration is not good.
The math ed establishment is still spinning out lies. The top of the math ed establishment is not subject to high stakes testing. So they won’t tell the truth about 3rd world immigration. That leaves the low level teachers to take the blame. That works for the top of the math ed establishment. If teachers don’t like this, they will have to go on strike. If that doesn’t work, they may have to try the truth.
