Math ed must have freedom of thought on diversity immigration etc

Freedom of thought is mandatory to think.   The math ed establishment forbids freedom to think or write or speak about race, diversity, and immigration except through the form of White guilt or blaming Whitey.  This corrupts the whole system.  Given the reality of diversity and race in education and its impact on cities and schools, to forbid freedom to write about it, kills freedom of thought.

Common core math is a fraud of teaching concepts when it is just a drill factory linked to high stakes testing is what happens when freedom of thought on race and diversity is forbidden.   Secretly, many think a drill factory is all that is possible under diversity.  So they stop searching for a conceptual way to teach math.

The conceptual way to teach elementary math is the Peano Axioms.  But once people can’t speak out about race, they stop thinking completely.  So Peano Axioms is dropped, even when it is better for Black and Latino students not just White and Asian.  This is because the bottom need to hear the concepts and the idea correctly stated, not some garbled version.

Euler could make do with the wrong ideas on natural numbers.  But others are blocked by such a lack of understanding.
