Will the math ed establishment turn its back on the Peano Axioms for another 100 years? While it is busy pushing self discovery?
If self discovery doesn’t discover the Peano Axioms how good is self discovery?
If self discovery does not discover that the definitions and algorithms of elementary math are mostly recursive, how good is self discovery?
Grassmann discovery v self discovery.
So far it looks like Grassmann discovered to do proofs of arithmetic laws using mathematical induction, and self discovery teaching does not discover this.
So Grassmann discovery wins.
Apparently, Grassmann didn’t have the right body language, so you choose to stay stupid. Some guy in Germany in 1861 had bad body language, so you give up on learning the Peano Axiom proofs. And that makes sense to you? Because no one with good body language tells you different?
