TNR does not get active learning

“Can You Really Watch a Debate and Tweet It at the Same Time?”

My comment:

TNR thinks live blogging or twittering a debate means you have less attention on what is said. They also say reading what others say during debate also degrades your understanding.

They cite a gorilla walking across basketball court and other unrelated info tasks.

According to progressive learning, they don’t get it. Active learning promotes understanding is a different concept they don’t seem aware of. Peer interaction promotes retention it does not reduce it according to the progressives in education.
